Chris Sheron focuses his transactional practice in the areas of business and real estate law. Mr. Sheron began his association with the firm in 1991 and became a partner in 2003. With the retirement of founding partner, Jerry Ackeret, several years ago, Mr. Sheron is now the sole owner of the firm. Mr. Sheron’s general corporate practice includes business formations, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, and governance issues. He represents buyers and sellers in both routine and complex transactions. He also serves as an independent trustee for various trust and estate matters. A licensed real estate broker, Mr. Sheron handles commercial and residential real estate transactions of all types and complexities. His real estate practice includes negotiating purchase and sale and lease agreements, landlord tenant issues, and construction and other financing. Mr. Sheron has significant experience working with auto dealerships.

Mr. Sheron received his B.A. in 1986 from University of California, Santa Barbara, and his J.D. in 1989 from the University of San Francisco School of Law. He is a member of The State Bar of California and the Marin County Bar Association. He lives with his wife Lori in Novato, where he is an avid disc golfer and softball player, and coaches the San Marin High School Mock Trial Team, and baseball teams in Little League and Babe Ruth.

Jerry Ackeret was one of the preeminent business lawyers in Marin County when he retired several years ago. Mr. Ackeret maintains a presence for the firm and occasionally provides legal services to new and existing clients.

Bobbi Campagna serves as the firm’s office manager and legal assistant. Since 1986, Ms. Campagna’s professionalism and exceptional administrative skills have helped the firm maintain its reputation for quality, personalized legal services. Ms. Campagna is also a notary and provides the service as a courtesy to the firm’s clients.
